   "In this chapter, God was touching on concepts of prayer and meditation. Our minds need to be silent in order to connect with something more. Sometimes, God can use that to connect with us, but most times, it's really just about disconnecting our physical needs and wants, and connecting with a more basal layer of consciousness. Silence is a powerful tool that in our busy modern lives has become a lost art. Call it prayer. Call it meditation. Call it anything that your religion is wanting you to call it. But in the meat of it, God just wants you to appreciate silence."

   "Hello Everyone, this is my first written piece I have ever done for the public. Although I have written as a hobby before, I have never shared my thoughts with anyone else. With this piece, I am planning to try to understand religion in a way outside of academia, and relate it more to our everyday real lives. Where does religion limit us? Where does religion bring us to new levels? Can there be a path to God without the conventional religions that exist? Right now, I don't know.
